Our 6th and 7th day in Newfoundland.

We had a couple of good days during this time frame, no sun and still lots of low lying clouds but never the less there are still some images to be had along the way.

Our Fourth & Fifth day on the ‘Rock’.

Unfortunately our 4th day was a wipe out almost entirely as it rained all day. But never fear there is always something to photograph. Our 5th day was better as we did do some traveling and visited some great locations where we did a little photography. Here we have a few photographs of our travels on these days and there will be more to come shortly.

Third Day on the Rock

We have a few images from our 3rd day on the Rock. On our way out of St John’s we visited a very colourfull street to see many brightly painted homes. There are a few on our way to Bonavista where we will stay till Tuesday Morning. We did see some great shorelines and another group of Puffins and even a Raven who swiped another birds egg. After dinner there was time for some low-light photography as well. Click on an image to open full size.

Second day in Newfoudland

Today was our 1st Whale watching day and while waiting to board the boat we had a chance to shoot a few images along the shore. We then boarded our ship and went “whaling” and see whales we sure did. There are a few shots of our catch and also a shot a pair of Puffins and we will see more of these birds in the next post. Enjoy.

First day in Newfoundland

We have a few images from the first day in Newfoundland. The weather has not quite been what we had hoped for as you will see in some of the images, but none the less there is always an opportunity to get a photograph. The fog was very heavy which cut the chances of shooting any landscape but it created other opportunities. Enjoy these few images and we should have more to come. In the second photo you see people bent over a puddle of water, the next one shows what they were up to.
